System is a hard one because there are so many things that use the system handle, like moving and copying files. Is that standard? Sometimes when I turn on my computer, everything is slow and I restart it and it works fast again. I I'm only using chrome and at the top of the processes list are System, with about 110,000+ total b/sec and chrome.exe hovering about 8,600 total b/sec.

I looked at disk section on resource monitor. You'll quickly see which files and processes (images) are using the disk. If you really want to see what processes and files are being used and the status of the disk, use Resource Monitor (link at the bottom of the Performance tab of Task Manager) and sort the disk section by Total (B/sec). Active time should jump to and stay at 100% any time there is a continuous task accessing the disk. Disk transfer rate (usage) isn't on a 0-100% scale, since the maximum transfer rate is vastly different for each disk, the graph in most monitoring apps will scale to whatever MB/s or GB/s rating best fits the current processes. Also disk active time and disk transfer rate are two different things.
